Open Call – SEASON 2026-2027

Open call for a week-long residency in our studio located in 1881 rue Saint-André, 3rd floor.
Details
- This open call is strictly allocated to one-week simple (non-technical) residencies between July 1st, 2026, and June 30th, 2027;
- White studio / 1300 ft²;
- Exclusive or partial access;
- Sound system;
- Easily accessible from Berri and Sherbrooke metro stations
Evaluation criteria
A selection committee* will evaluate:
- The coherence between the form, the discourse, and the choreographic language of the proposal.
- The clarity of the project’s position in relation to current artistic and political discourses.
- The artist’s genuine ability to carry the project through to completion.
- The consistency of the artistic practice and the project’s potential to reaffirm and further develop it.
- Authenticity and transparency.
- The precision and clarity of the organizational needs.
* The committee must uphold the CCOV’s values of inclusion and diversity by selecting projects that reflect various artistic practices, aesthetics, and perspectives, fostering a balanced and representative artistic ecosystem.
Please note that shoes leaving marks are not permitted on the dance floor and that this is the only call for short residencies for the 2026-2027 season.
