Emerging Artists – Program

The Emerging Artists Program 2023-2024 has been made possible thanks to the generous support of
the Quebecor as Main Partner.

For a 4th consecutive year, the CCOV is pleased to welcome, for the next 6 months, these 3 emerging artists :

Although we adapt to the needs of the artists, here are the framework and services offered by the CCOV:

  • 1 week of paid studio residencies ;
  • Package for being mentored in the discipline of their choice (for instance, in the past, program recipients have been mentored in sewing, lighting and even horseback riding);
  • Participation in showcases to meet presenters.

It is therefore with great pleasure that we welcome
Be Heintzman Hope, Erin Hill and Jigsaw to
 the CCOV. 

Always wishing to support as many artists as possible, the CCOV inaugurated in 2020-2021 a new project entitled “Emerging Artists – Progam”, an addition to the other support initiatives of the CCOV: Short-term residencies, the “Associated artists” program and “CCOV productions”. Concretely, the Emerging Artists – Program offers tailor-made supervision that allows each artist to focus on the key elements of their projects.

On the menu, a 6-month engagement that includes the following:

  • A bank of hours in the CCOV creation studio ;
  • A financial backing to support development and networking activities ;
  • A mentoring service (production, administration, communication, tour, coordination).
