FIMO MITCHELL Fimo Mitchell is a meditation teacher, writer, and podcast host. After sixteen years in China, where he taught meditation, he returned to Montreal in 2019 and began hosting group meditation sessions in his apartment. This initiative led to the creation of the organization, When The Village Meditates in 2020. The author of three books — Pastel Remembrances, Kingston’s Return, and Lost or Found? — Fimo also hosts a weekly podcast of the same name, offering ten minutes of guided meditation followed by five minutes of reflection. |

MARA DUPAS Mara Dupas is a multidisciplinary artist based in Tio’tia:ke / Mooniyang (Montreal), whose practice weaves together writing, dance, and performance. Through a sensitive and critical approach, they explore the intersections of body, memory, and storytelling, grounding their work in Afrodescendant and queer lived experiences. Their creations, including Olympia 2.0, Dépi temps (Tangente), and FANM (Phénoména, OFFTA), delve into themes of desire, lineage, and identity. Their writings, featured in Moveo magazine and Zinc journal, extend this ongoing search for a hybrid language. |

SANGWN Jean-Édouard Pierre-Toussaint, also known as Sangwn or Darq, is a prominent figure in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal), rooted in Côte-des-Neiges and shaped by his Haitian heritage. For over 26 years, he has been deeply involved in community work while pursuing an international dance career. As a performer, judge, youth mentor, event coordinator, and community worker, he bridges social engagement and artistic creation.
