Enter our creation space tucked away behind the scenes at the prestigious Place des Arts and discover our dance studio, a silent witness to the birth of many remarkable works in the history of Quebec’s artistic heritage.

Exceptionally, for the occasion, the studio will be transformed into a place fit for meeting and networking. A large dance floor will also invite professional dancers, daring amateurs and shy beginners to participate in a festive and unifying danceoké. This activity mixes dance, music videos and karaoke; you will only need a few minutes to be won over!

Thank you to our donors for the silent auction

Why donate?

• Because we answer to an ever-growing demand: since the CCOV’s inception, the number of applications to our residency programs has increased by 66%.
• Because thanks to our technical residencies, the CCOV allows artists to work in conditions comparable to theatres.
• Because every dollar donated means more studio time for choreographers.
• Because we are a fair organization that support dance artists regardless of their artistic background, reputation or origins.

The funds raised will be directly injected in our residency programs.

THE CENTRE DE CRÉATION O VERTIGO

Since its creation, the Centre de Création O Vertigo – CCOV has developed a unique expertise that allows it to play a major role in the creation of several choreographic works presented in Montreal, in Canada and internationally.

Working in theatre-like conditions is necessary to create remarkable works, but it requires a huge investment in time and money, and an exceptional place in which to create! It is during this stage of development that the Centre de Création O Vertigo – CCOV plays its main role. By providing artistic residency programs, the CCOV offers the community an invaluable asset that must maintained.
