In practical terms, this means it is possible to recover up to 75% of the donation amount.
Program eligibility criteria:
Amount: A single cash donation of $5,000 to $25,000 (made by check, credit card, wire transfer, or cash)
Eligibility: First major cultural donation made by an individual (other than a trust) who resides in Quebec and has never previously benefited from this credit
Period: Donation made in one or more instalments during a tax year
Benefit: 25% credit in addition to the charitable donation tax credit
