Louise Michel has been active as a dancer for 15 years. After 5 years in Belgium, she sails between Brussels and Montreal, and create her own projects. She created her first project in collaboration with Benaji Mohamed (belgium), “STROKE” or “SHUDDER” ( short version) in 2016. She is driven by the notions of chaos, fragility and simplicity by creating obstinate, visceral, offbeat situations, contexts and poetic landscapes between the familiar and the strange. She invests an approach of the body very organic disarticulated and minimalist gestures.
