It has now become a tradition!
Since fall 2020, the CCOV opens its season with the event Signal vibrant: ceremony for the dead. Curated by Nate Yaffe, Hanako Hoshimi-Caines and Ivanie Aubin Malo, this evening will once again be an opportunity to pay tribute to the resilience and memories of those lost. Here, the performance becomes an offering and honours the cycle below: honouring the moment of regeneration, shadow work, the part of the cycle that corresponds to decomposition, the fungi and insects necessary to decompose and compost matter to ensure the continuity of life.
For this we invited Mariam Imak ,Rachel Harris, Guillaume BB, Corpuscule, Thea Patterson, Nubian Néné, Shérane et Aurélie Figaro, Bambino to offer us, each in turn, their performances which will bring us to a moment of synchronization; of realignment and of remembrance.
