Untied Tales représente une étape importante dans le parcours artistique de Clara Furey, puisqu’elle combine l’aboutissement des réflexions développées par l’artiste, tant bien en danse qu’en musique qu’en art performatif. Continuant de creuser dans les zones les plus obscures de l’être et toujours en abordant le thème de la rencontre de l’Autre, Clara et Peter livrent un conte de fée obscur et grave qui conjugue à merveille deux approches et deux sensibilités artistiques différentes autour d’une recherche physique et gestuelle d’une extrême précision.
Untied Tales represents a pivotal stage in the path of Clara Furey, since it combines the artist’s overall reflections developed not only in dance, but in music and the performing arts. Continuing to delve into the darkest zones of existence, and to explore the theme of the encounter with the Other, Clara and Peter have created a dark and serious fairy tale. One that perfectly combines two distinct artistic approaches and sensibilities, each centred on physical and gestural research of extreme precision.

BIO CLARA FUREY
Formée en musique au Conservatoire de Paris et en danse à l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, Clara Furey s’intéresse en premier lieu au mélange des formes, des langages et des codes qui composent une œuvre vivante.
Interprète pour de nombreux chorégraphes, dont Georges Stamos et Benoît Lachambre, qui aura un impact important sur sa démarche artistique, Clara Furey décide de se consacrer à la création chorégraphique et à l’art performatif en 2003, considérant la danse dans tout mouvement, toute respiration, tout travail ou action du corps. L’influence majeure de Benoît Lachambre sur son travail de performeuse lui permet de questionner son rapport au public, de « briser le 4e mur », de voir la performance ou le spectacle dans un espace de 360 degrés et non uniquement frontalement.

After studying music at the Conservatoire de Paris, then dance at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, Clara Furey developed an interest in mixed forms, in the languages and codes that make up the performing arts. She began her artistic career as a singer and composer before turning to dance, acting and cinema, most notably appearing in Guy Madden’s film The Forbidden Room.
After dancing for numerous choreographers, including Georges Stamos and Benoît Lachambre, who had a strong impact on her artistic approach, Clara Furey decided in 2003 to focus on choreographic creation and performance art, conceiving dance in terms of the body’s full range of movements, breaths, work, action. The influence of Benoît Lachambre on her work as a performer led her to question her relationship with the audience, to “break down the fourth wall,” to see the performance in a 360-degree space and not only frontally.
BIO PETER JASKO
Peter Jasko est né à Liptovsky Mikulasin (Slovaquie) 1982. Il découvre la danse à la folk dance company Dumbier Slovakia puis étudie au conservatoire de Banska Bystrica JLBella, à l’Université de musique et de théâtre de Bratislava puis à P.A.R.T.S (2002).
Il a travaillé avec beaucoup d’artistes et de compagnies très différentes comme Zuzana Hajkova, Opera Banska Bystrica, ASpO, Company Roberto Olivan, OXOXOX – Juri Konjar, G. Barberio Corsetti & Fatou Traore, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (pour Myth en 2007), Anton Lachky company (Mind a gap 2014).
Ses projets futurs : Into the void (titre provisoire) en collaboration avec Clara Furey, (2015) et At least forever en collaboration avec David Zambrano (2015).
Peter Jasko est un des co-fondateurs des SlovaKs Dance Collective. Ils créent Opening Night (2007), Journey Home (2009), The Koncert (2010) et Fragments (2012).

Peter Jasko was born in Liptovsky Mikulasin (Slovakia) 1982. He took his first dance classes at the folk dance company Dumbier Slovakia then he studied and graduated at the Conservatory J.L. Bella of dance, Banska Bystrica, Slovakia. He continued his higher education at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Bratislava before entering at the international school of dance P.A.R.T.S. (2002).
His professional experience ranges from dancing with different international artists and companies such as Zuzana Hajkova, Opera Banska Bystrica, ASpO, Company Roberto Olivan, OXOXOX – Juri Konjar, G. Barberio Corsetti & Fatou Traore, Company Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (for the creation of Myth in 2007), Anton Lachky company (Mind a gap 2014).
Close future projects are Into the void – working title, in collaboration with Clara Furey, (2015) and At least forever in collaboration with David Zambrano (2015).
Peter Jasko is co-founder of Les SlovaKs Dance Collective. They created Opening Night (2007), Journey Home (2009), The Koncert (2010) and Fragments (2012).
