Frédérique PAX Dumas is a performing artist and multidisciplinary creator stemming from a specialized backgrounding street dance. She is deeply interested in the creative process and the power of artistic expression as a tool for transformation, which has led her to develop specific artistic approaches. From this unique approach, she creates teaching methods that will be shared in Europe and the United States as well as in several renowned dance companies.
She performed at the renowned street dance festival, Breakin Convention (London), with the work Hannah, a duet co-created with Genevieve Lou. The following year, she presented the immersive installation Untitled at the V&A Museum (London), in co-creation with two of her peers. 2019 marks the creation of the immersive multi-sensory work, E-MOTION in collaboration with perfume artist Dana El Masri. She was then part of the cast of Un temps pour tout under the direction of Sovann Rochon Prom-Tep, presented during the 2021 edition of the FTA Festival.
She collaborates as an artistic consultant and rehearsal director, working alongside many renowned artists and artistic companies, including the dance company Ebnfloh, under the direction of long-time mentor and creative collaborator, Alexandra Spicey Lande.
In 2018, she founded A.MUSE, a multidisciplinary arts company that focuses on the intersection of artistic mediums and the creation of immersive experiences. Her many areas of interest include dance, design, film and photography and digital arts.
