The Tête à Tête

The Tête à Tête : la face cachée de la visibilité  will provide a much needed space for racialized artists to unpack the current issues related to their reality. Over a 5 day period (September 4-8), identifying BIPOC artists will occupy the studio of the CCOV to address artistic questions which directly effect the political climate they work in and around.  Through a combination of discussion, creative working methods and practice sharing, the artists will collectively examine their concerns.  Centred around (but not limited to) dance and performance making , the project thoughtfully makes space for encounters between prominent thinkers,  activists, artists and cultural workers to develop strategies for collaboration, resistance, and hopeful future actions.
